He's reaching for the support from the bleeding heart liberals.

They always make criminals into the victim. He can't be guilty, he was molested in his youth.

But he's a good Republican and deserved all the understanding the party leadership gave him. So what if a few Innocent kids will have emotional problems because of him. Have some understanding for the good Republican alcoholic pedophile. And remember it's all the Democrats fault that this came out right at election time not the pedophiles.

You are absolutely right and speaking of which, as right thinking Republicans, we should not have to be called to task for anything we choose to do. But in the meantime, there still appear to be some pesky laws that we have to deal with from time to time.

Since Foley is Anita Bryant's son and therefore Ann Coulter's cousin, he is getting some needed behind the scenes help. Also, Condi and Laura came out swinging today as well.

If you want to contribute to his defense fund, go to Laura's web site and give until it hurts. I know I did!

not only is it complete crap, but the FBI says they knew about the sexually suggestive emails and urged him to cease and desist from further emails. what a load of s h i t! any other person doing that would have been jailed immediately! you have seen the "to catch a predator" on nbc and those guys are immediately arrested for soliciting a minor for sex. shouldn't foley be held to the same standards?! apparently not-according to the FBI. do you think those guys on 'to catch a predator' are questioned and then given just a warning. this is total hogwash and such bull
s h i t !

And he also admitted that he's gay. I don't know if anyone is really surprised, he was kind feminine even before this scandal. But anyways, you're right, why can't he just admit it and apologize for what he did? And for admitting that he's gay, does that mean he's trying to give gay people a bad reputation?

The reason for going there is it gives him cover from having to deal with reality...and death threats from higher up Republicans who are afraid he might turn them in when... he tries to cut a deal with the federal prosecutor

Alchohol and sexual abuse as a child. Painting himself as a victim does not change the fact that he's a pedophile, though i must admit that it's a good tactic.

Yeah, its pathetic. Take responsibility for your actions. The bigger fish here is Hastert. He knew of this and turned his head. That's despicable. This isn't going away anytime soon.
