Is he that good looking? Everytime I see a girl wearing a Mets jersey or t-shirt, it always says "Wright 5" on the back. (I know not all girls are like that, some of them are really die hard Mets fans.)

well I dont no about him but I like Barry Zito..not only is he good looking but he is a good pitcher and has a good demeanor. He's so laid back.

Well, for me, its because he's talented and a seemingly nice guy. I love watching him play, and I like the fact that unlike a lot of young players, he seems to be really grounded: he's still impressed with the turn his life took, as opposed to being arrogant (which he could be if he wanted to; he's good enough).
But I think a lot of girls like David Wright for the same reason a lot of girls like Derek Jeter: he's cute! Even I think so, and I'm far more interested in his batting average than his looks, good or bad.
Besides, the Mets don't exactly discourage it: they make t-shirts and caps that say "Mrs. Wright" spelled out in rhinestones!

Well....I dunno 'bout other girls. For me, if a player ain't got no talents, he ain't worth much in my book. David Wright is an extremely talented young player, though. He's only 23 yet he's made a lot marks in the baseball world. Besides a pretty outstanding record, getting a plane named after himself ain't shabby, either. I mean, how many baseball players have that?
