I went to the doc today and found out the my bp is slightly elevated. I has always been normal.

My mom died almost 3 weeks ago. Could it be stress?

Yes it could be stress. It could be the foods your eating. I know its hard but try your best and take it easy.

Relax, go to a spa.....It is definitely stress. Also, some people get what they call "white coat syndrome" which is just being at the doctors your blood pressure goes up. Definitely monitor it and if you need to, I'm sure your doctor will put you on a bp medication if is required.

Yes, it could definetly be stress. Why wouldn't it be? You've been through a lot.
Stop eating salty foods...chips, snacks, canned veggies, canned soups, diet soda is a big one, lunchmeat...etc.
