Enabling WEP
Logon to your routers settings. normally by opening the following web page http://192.168.1.1
Now click on the "wireless" tab
Click on the "Wireless Security" sub tab
In "security mode" select "WEP"
Leave the "default transmit key" as it is
Change "WEP Encyrption" to "128 bit"
In the "Passphrase" enter anything you want. Make it about 8 characters long
Press "Generate" and you will see Key 1, 2, 3 and 4 now have 26 Digits in each. Congratulations you have now secured your router and gernated your WEP key.
Now you have 4 keys, you only need one to get the PSP online. But which one??? Easy. Above where, it says "Default Transmit key" and a number, 1-4. The number that selected is the Key you need to use i.e if 1 is selected use the letters in Key 1.

In your internet adress bar, type "192.168.1.1" without quotes. Then enter your password and username; if you have never changed it, the username should be left blank and the password is "admin" (w.out quotes). Then go under security and set up a password there. If you get confused on how to, download this program from Linksys that basically does it for you. http://www.linksysfix.com/check/HomePage/index.htm?CallerID=EL
Before you download it though, check if your router number/model is listed there. It should be on the from or bottom of your router. That should get your neighbors off your internet connection! ;-)
