A circle can be divided into 2π radians, 360 degrees, or other measurements

2πradians = 360 degrees
1 radian = 180/π degrees
180/π degrees / 1 radian = 1

3π/2 radians x (180/π degrees / 1 radian)

= 270 degrees

Both are three quarters of a circle.

(FYI, it's pi, not pie.)

there are 360 degrees in a circle, and 2pie radians in a circle.

So what you do is use the conversion factor 360 degrees / 2pie radians, and multiply that by 3pie / 2. You're allowed to do this because 360 degrees / 2 pie equals 1, and 1 multiplied to anything does not change it.

Therefore:

(3pie x 360) / (2pie x 2)

You can figure it out from there. I don't want to just give you the answer like most of the "helpers".

multiply by 180/pi
(1 * pi) * 180/pi = 180 deg
(2 * pi) * 180/pi = 360 deg
(3 * pi) * 180/pi = 540 deg

(3 * pi) / 2 * 180/pi = 270
