They are single use and don't work after the first time. Once it absorbs urine the first time peeing on it a second time won't do anything. It's expensive to keep testing all the time but if you chart your cycle (websites like www.fertilityfriend.com can help with that) it might help with knowing when to test and when you're more likely to conceive. Because once its been in the urine, traces of the old urine will interfere with the new results the second time around.
Its hard to give an answer to a question thats pretty obvious.

I'm guessing beacuse the ink that uses to let you know if you are pregnant or on is being used. Is like trying to use a pen with no ink..common sense

Once you have soaked it it one urine sample and you did it again it cannot get the accurate reading.

because once you pee on it, that's it the litmus paper is used up and it doesn't go back to the way it was ... it's a one shot deal ...
