The best thing is to click on the fat burn cycles for the machines. Pace yourself and stay within your target heart rate or as close to it as you can. These will help keep you in shape and burn fat. Anyone at curves can help you find your target heart rate for your weight and age.
It usually takes 3 to 4 weeks to start seeing good results...everyone's body composition is different so some may loose weight quicker or slower then others.
If I can do it you can do it! Good luck and it helps to have a work out buddy to keep you motivated.

Depending on how hard and how long you are using the program, it usually takes about 3 weeks to have a noticable difference. But after a good workout you should feel a little sore the next day. This shows that your muscles had a good workout. If you don't get sore, don't panic, just be patient. If you're working with weights, start with a weight that challenges your body, but doesn't cause pain. You should feel a mild burn during your second set. After a few days if that weight becomes easy for you, move up a weight. On weight machines it is better to perform slow, concentrated movements. This helps your body focus on making each movement right. If you rush yourself the quality of sets will not be as good. Good luck! If you have any other questions let me know, I use to work at a gym.

I did curves for 11 months. You work on the machines in shifts you start on one and then it tells you to move to the next it takes a total of 30 min to finish. You lose weight quick. Its a good program

I went three times a week for several months and noticed a difference. You definetly don't want to over excert yourself though. You do have to take you heart rate during the 30 minutes. Also keep in mind that not only excercising wil help you lose weight but eating healthier too.
