I wanted to clarify NICK T was wrong.
It isn't the MICHIGAN STATE WOLVERINES. Its the University of Michigan (NOT STATE) and their mascot is a Wolverine. (Blue and gold). << One of the best college programs in HISTORY!
MICHIGAN STATE are the spartans (white and green)
If for some reason you decide to pass on U of M, I would also suggest Notre Dame (Green and Gold). This is defnitely the most well known school and has probably the best history.
The green is a DARK green not a lighter shade.

A previous poster had it wrong. Auburn's colors are Orange and Blue.
