seems like Capello has decided to use him as a sub. This really doesn't help him as he needs more time on the field to get back his rhytm.

I think not, Van Nistelrooy start is very good and Raul comeback is at the right time, he will have his chances but he will have to work very hard to be in starting line again!!!!

Maybe. There are two different thoughts here. Yes, he has proved himself to work hard and is a very determined player. He has scored many goals in his career and seems very series about some things he has said in interviews. On top of that in case van Nistelrooy is injured Ronaldo would be needed and since Raul is starting to lose his edge, Ronaldo's chances are even greater. No, because he may be losing some weight but you really can't see it so it must be very little. He is also getting old and marked by many injuries in surgery his body may not handle a come back. So if things go his way and no injuries occur and the weight starts to come off, who knows.

I am a fan of Rolnldo...he used to be scoring like any thing...you find him being injured for three month but is used to be a contender for top goal scorer...now real have Ruud Van.... and Robinho...I think his days in football are numbered...and by the way his one player I have ever known whose ability in football field fluctuate drastically due to psychological problem of personal life...he is easily affected with things out side football world

Y cant we respect players when they don’t perform like they used to ( for different reasons ). Players give their teams, countries and fans the best years of their lives so I think we should give them time to work things out. Who agrees with me?
