Gecko care?

Question

I have a friend that wants to give me a gecko lol I was wondering what all I would need for one?? Cuz they are very cute but I want to find out what I needed.. thanks!

Depends what type of gecko it is. Different types of geckos like different types of climates. Be careful if its a tokay them critters are nuts!
I have leopard geckos and they like warm dry setups and whatever you do stay away from using the sand/crushed walnut shells for substrate i had 2 geckos die from accidental swallowing of this as they pounced crickets. it gets impacted in their intestine and basically creates a damn and blocks everything up.

do not overlook water. I even have 13 geckos. My homestead geckos drink water i've got sprayed into the tank off the glass and vegetation and my leopard geckos drink water from a bowl. My geckos basically consume crickets and different small bugs. considering the fact that they only consume at night I feed them at night. attempt retaining slightly carrot or a wedge of an orange interior the tank for any crickets that aren't getting eaten good away so the crickets do not nibble on the geckos. additionally, an undertank heater on one ingredient is considerable. reptiles prefer their tanks to have a heat ingredient and a cooler ingredient. they like a mild on one ingredient of the tank additionally. Blacklights paintings nicely for my nocturnal reptiles.

I HAVE A GOLDEN GECKO, HE IS IN A 10 GALLON AQUARIUM HE EATS CRICKETS AND SOMETIMES MEAL WORMS. THEY LIKE HEAT SO I HAVE A LIGHT ON FOR HIM AT ALL TIMES. I ALSO HAVE A LITTLE WATER DISH FOR HIM. THEY LIKED TO BE SPAYED EVERY DAY WITH A SQUIRT BOTTLE WITH WARM WATER IN IT. I LIVE IN TN SO I BOUGHT HIM A HEATING PAD FOR THE AQUARIUM.
