Do let people BS you..the answer is money. Can't live off respect. Respect doesn't feed my children or pay my mortgage.

12-13 yrs ago, there was a short period of time that I had no money... I had to live in my car. My answer would have been respect!

Now....

I have the big houses, 12 car garage, enough imports to fill the garage. Net worth that includes 8 digits.... My answer is still RESPECT!

Money means nothing! It makes day to day living much more comfortable, but it does not make you a better person!

Both, but you have to earn respect from your fellowmen. Money is important for your daily needs but if people do not respect you and despised you because they don't respect you..then that makes you uncomfortable.

Just my personal opinion, but the true value of money is in its' sharing with those that are without and that in itself will bring respect and gratitude.

Respect is something you can't piss away, so I'd say respect over money

Respect is more important. It is something that is earned and can't be bought.
