what is the best way to put in a backwindshield of a 85 chevey truck?????

there are tools available at your auto parts store but the beast one is a piece of thin rope or cord
first install the rear window rubber seal properly
then you start the windshield into it's slot
put the rope inside the groove along the edge of thw window
as you push the window into the slot you pull on the rope which opens up the groove and flaps it over the window
when you get all the way around the window will be installed and the rope is pulled out
it may take you a couple tries but it works great

bestt thing to do is let a qualified glass installer do it. because you buy the glass right , and you make the least little mistake and that new glass is going to splatter. then guess what youre out of the money you already spent and have to buy another. glass replacement is very hard and if it breaks with them they replace it not you.

Need more info..... is there a rubber gasket around it or does it seem to be glued in?
