it differs for everyone but somewhere around 5 and then keeps getting darker and darker

Yeah, I think that for most if you are going to have a line it would be around the 5-7 month. I didn't have a very thick line with my daughter and then had my son and I had the biggest line ever. So it depends on the hormone levels of the pregnancy.

I don't have any discoloration, but I have a line of really fine blonde hair going down my belly and around my belly button. Scared me at first, I thought I was growing a winter coat. I think I first noticed it about 2 and a half months.

Yea I agree with some of the other people on here. It does depend on your body type. Kinda like stretch marks, not everybody gets them or it can be worse for some people than others. Anyways I am 36 wks and I got mine about 5 weeks ago, so around the 8th month, for me. But my friend is 37 weeks and she doesnt have one at all, and probably wont get one.
Wish you are your baby the best. Hope you dont get one, I heard they dont go away.

Mine was at 5 months, but I didn't have one with my first 3 kids. My son was born in May and the line is still there, so I'm wondering when it will go away! haha

Not every woman gets those, I had a very light line. If u do get one u will prob see one around 5-6 months.

At about 6 to 7 months but mine appered early then that I started to get mine at 5 months because i was so small before I got preg.

everyones different. Ive always had the line. even when i was not pregnant. every since i was a little girl. but my cousins didn't appear till around the third trimester.

I got mine about the end of my first trimester. I also noticed that a scar I had during childhood on my chest got darker in color as well, and even my nipples. It's crazy the things that happen to your body during pregnancy!

i started to notice a really faint line about three months in. I'm seven months now and you can't miss it.
