i want to be thing 1 and thing 2 with my friend for halloween..what would would be a good idea for the costume??

Thing 1 and 2 were all red from the neck down. They had white faces with tall, curley blue hair.
You can achive the look by getting red knit tights and red long sleave turtle neck shirts and either having them delcealed with thing 1 and thing 2, or just use a marker. Use white clown makeup or white makeup from a halloween store on your faces and get some tall blue, curely wigs that look like Marge from The Simpsons.
Here are some alternatives.
You didn't indicate whether your friend was male or female, so it's kind of hard to give any suggestions.
If the both of you are female, then both of you might want to go as different kinds of fairies or angels (see link).
If your friend is a male, then maybe you'll want to take a look at the pair costumes (see the second link).
You could also go as super hero combinations like: Bat Girl/Bat Man, Super Girl/Super Man, Bat Girl or Super Girl or Wonder Woman or Cat Woman (see last link).

I have a thing 2! he is wearing a red jumpsuit with a 2 on the front, and has blue hair. I suggest you go to the library and look them up in a dr Zuse book
