1. Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve are exactly one week apart, so it should also be a Sunday.

2. This is a tricky question! The obvious answer is also one week apart, hence, Monday; however, since you ask regarding in the SAME given year, it means in one calender year. That means if Christmas Day is on a Monday (as it is this year: Monday, December 25, 2006), then New Year's Day of the same year was a Sunday (as it was this year: Sunday, January 1, 2006) unless the year in question is a leap year, in which case, New Year's would have been one day earlier than Christmas, and hence a Saturday.

Example 2006 Christmas eve is on Sunday and so is New Year's Eve but Christmas day is on Monday but New Year's day was on Sunday. Reasoning is that you mentioned 'within a given year'. If I chose New Year's day as Monday then I would be crossing over years.

Christmas EVE and New Year's EVE are always on the same day of the week within a year.

Christmas day is one day later in the week than New Year's Day, unless it is a leap year, then Christmas is two days later in the week.

Christmas EVE on Sunday, New Year's EVE on Sunday; Christmas DAY on Monday, New Year's DAY on Monday. Christmas EVE/DAY & New Year's EVE/DAY are exactly seven days (one week) apart.

Since New Year's day would be at the beginning of the year and Christmas day is toward the end of the year (question #2) you would have to account for any extra day in February (leap year) between those dates making a difference.

a guy can come once in a 12 months at the same time as he has change into previous and feeble, two times in a month in the time of his sixth to 10th 12 months of marriage, 4 cases a week at the same time as he became 2 years married and six cases an afternoon at the same time as he became newly married. no longer some thing else is conceivable. if some thing only comes once in a 12 months, How can it come two times in a month? 12 months in a 12 months x 2 = 24 cases a 12 months, no longer once! no longer to teach 4 x week and six x day,
