Marilyn drove her car from Lubbock to Houston at an average rate of 48 miles per hour and returned over icy roads averaging only 28 miles per hour. Find the time going and returning if the time returning was 5 hours more than the time going.

They need to tell you the distance between Lubbock and Houston or you need to find it yourself using mapquest or something.

To find the time remember that speed is in unil of miles/hour so if you divide the distance travelled by the appropriate speed you'll have unit of miles divided by miles/hour which gives you miles time hour / miles (the miles cancel out and you have hour left).
