Criminals are criminals. All should be punished according to the severity of the crime, as defined by law.
Warrantless wiretaps are felonies (50 USC 180x). So are violations of federal war crimes statutes (18 USC 2441) for torture.
Failure to register upon entery is a misdemeanor (8 USC 1306).
So, if the law actually matters, the felonies would be more severe (worse) than the misdemeanors. Sadly, the law doesn't appear to matter any more in the US.

I'm not a big fan about whining about poor people fleeing a bad place and not waiting around for paper work to go threw while them and their family members are starving or forced to work for drug lords. So I guess I don't really think illegal Mexicans are all that bad besides I don't ever remember a group of white people fighting to get in a line in the morning out side a burger king to work hard labor all day. Wire taping illegally is some really bad crap that has no place in the land of free speech. Torture wow that's a tough one. Torture has been used in war fare since the dawn of time to save the lives millions of Innocent people. So how do you decide if torture is bad. what if you have the bad guy who you know with out a doubt was planing on killing your friends and family. What if you know he was not alone what would you do to him to save your mom or your wife or your new born child? Keep in mind this person you have in front of you is going to laugh when you gets word that your whole family was killed and you didn't have the guts to do some thing to stop it. Well I for one would go to that dark place every time to save my people.

Since the wiretaping wasnt found as illegal yet (innocent till proven guilty anyway and the way the democrats and republicans are approving the wiretap rules I dont think it'll fall under illegal technically), I dont think its as much as the republicans and illegals as it is democrats and illegals because of the costs of healthcare....Republicans and democrats are the same in mudslinging jerry springer campaigning but they are both a bunch of legal crooks.....thats the way the politicians crumble/.....

I don't think illegal Mexicans are "criminals" in the traditional sense. They just got lost in the desert and wandered in where they're not wanted. I just want them to go home and put their hard work to work for themselves rather than taking advantage of the social programs and other benefits of living in America.
Ilegal wiretappers should be tried and incarcerated for their very real crimes. If you don't stand up for what's right in any job, from auto mechanic, to soldier, to CIA wiretapper, you are no better than a bully and a slave and you don't deserve to live in a free society of law, order and fair trade.

It all depends, if you are a racist or not ? doesn't it ?
To a racist, people of different race are the ultimate threat ! even legal ones ! ofcourse, I am not condoning illegal immigrants in any way, they mostly hurt themselves, as their numbers grow, and wages drop.
But I believe , you should have asked, if we could prosecute, only one of these groups, who should we tackle first !
