A couple of weeks ago I was in the need for a tight end. So I picked up Marquis Colston which was an available Tight End/Wide Receiver. Now that I have played him for the last couple of weeks, the league commissioner says I can not use him as a tight end. What do I Do?

If your fantasy football provider (Yahoo! Sports, NFL.com, ESPN.com) still has Colston classified as a W/T, then there is NO reason why you cannot start him as a TE. Every year, there is an "anomaly" - a guy who can be played in mulitple roster spots. Last year, it was Chris Cooley of the Redskins, this year it is Colston. It isn't your Commish's call to tell you to simply not play him in that spot.

He was a TE in college and the Saints have him a backup TE for an emergency. Playing him at WR was a move the Saints decided to try because of his size and because of his productivity he has worked his way into keeping the position. "Technically" he is still considered a TE to the Saints. That is why Yahoo lists him in both categories. This has happened "many" times to other players as well, usually to players that fill a RB position and Yahoo rules allows this for a reason. Cooley for the Redskins is another example. Tell your commish to quit whining. He only wishes that he had him I'm sure!

If you can't fight it, he is still looking like a very productive WR. To replace your TE, Owen Daniels is a good sleeper. George Wrighster of Jacksonville has had some involvement in the offense and could have increased production as the weeks go on. Your other option is to visit my blog where I have stats posted as far as TE matchups against defenses so you can get some plug and play going on each week. I have the receptions per game to a TE listed as well as TDs per game to a TE listed. That could help you get some extra production out of your TE slot.

most sites don't allow Colston available for the TE spot...though ive seen one that does..just better listen to the commissioner and pick up someone else on the waivers..TE isn't that important of a spot to begin with

oh god dont do this. Edwards had 2 4 td video games against the browns final 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. i know edwards hasnt been great yet yet he would be supply it time. Moss isnt going to be doing this all season he has in simple terms had 3 great video games. in case you will get rid of edwards you could desire to do it after the browns game and verify out and get a reliable RB like Bush

You stil use him as a TE that is if he's still eligible at TE. If hes not then you dont have a choice but the commissioner cant force you to only use him as a WR.

argue with him until he gives up
he should have established that before he was enabled as a TE
