Definitely. Find a job you love. Even if you end up getting paid less for it, having a career that fulfills you is so much more important!

Yes! Depending on what you are looking to do, the job market is very good right now. Some might say that you work your job in order to allow you to do the other things in your life that you do enjoy. True but you could say that about any job. And while it's true that not everyone will be able to find that perfect job you will love, do you really want to be 40 years old, looking back and thinking you wasted your time in a job you hate??

It all depends. If you can have a job you love that also provides the cash for the private life you love, that's fine. But back when I had a "fun" job, I spent all my free time with no money to do anything and constantly had to worry about paying the bills. It was a lot more stressful and unfulfilling than my current situation....having a job I really don't care for but that pays well enough that I have a great social life, can afford to travel, never have to be scared to answer the phone because it might be a bill collector, etc.

Hopefully you can find something where it doesn't have to be "either-or"...I'm working toward that myself !

I think you answered the question yourself just by asking it. Time to start looking for a job that fulfills what you really want to do, or a better boss if that is the problem. It is truly astonishing how much better life is if you like what you are doing............you might even get a smile out of the mirror in the morning!

Yes but if the job puts a roof over your head and food on the table
be thankful and look for another one.

Absolutely. Working at a job that you hate is like dating a jerk. They'll only hurt you and keep you from finding your perfect match.

Life is way to short to "hate" any thing.

Interesting question. I am reminded of the movie "Fight Club" where Brad Pitt's character states that "We all work at jobs we hate to buy crap we don't need"....Funny, but true

There's a difference between a job and a career.
It sounds like you haven't found your niche yet.
Good luck!
