He has started to score goals for Real Madrid after a long time but got dropped from the national team. Do you think it is the end of his international career ?

Added : It would been nice if Raul could have ended his international career on a happier note but thanks to Henry the Frog....it did not happen.

he will be back to the national team soon & coach, Luis Aragones has made a huge mistake by not selecting him for the upcoming 2008 European Championship qualifiers. he's one of the most deadly striker in Europe & his strike rate for club & country is simply amazing.

He used to be good, but for the past TWO years he's totally dried up, there looks like there's no more juice in his engine!

Although people might argue that he's begun to score goals again, those Real Madrid goals were against clubs that ...weren't exactly good.

It's about time he ended his international career. He's been given so many chances and he's always let Spain down, never performed at his best for them (but, then again, which Spaniard DOES? or maybe it's bad luck, I won't venture to guess). I think that it's time for Spain to get rid of any baggage from the past, I think that above all, what they need is a little FAITH, in themselves as well as from other people (their countrymen, for a start).

Raul's had a great career, but now he's mostly living off his name; people have to accept that he's no longer the wunderkind he used to be, but they can still keep the memories of the good times, and so can he (I hope).

Cheers. I hope Spain win a world Cup in my lifetime, maybe even the next one. Haha.

He is still pretty young and if he keeps scoring he should get back into the Spanish team. He does have a lot of rivals, as Villa, Morientes, Torres, Reyes, and others all want a spot.

He has at his still young age set A LOT of records. He has had some injuries and Real for a while were not playing very well. Now with Capello and Ruud Van Nistlerooy and him forming a good partnership, I think he could start to earn call ups once again.

Raul has no intentions of retiring. He knows better. Aragones even said that we will see Raul in the future. It's only a temporary thing.
