Only experinced people please....
I've had my tongue pierced for 3 months, well, I accidently cleaned my tongue ring in the wrong product and it started to rust, so I had to remove it, then I got a new one the next day, but it's already healed!? I can get the barbell in partially, but it won't go through the rest of the way. I've had it out for two days now. Is there anyway to get it through, without getting it pierced again?

I already tried numbing my tongue, and I've tried just pushing it through....

Well having one myself, I can tell you that indeed the tongue heels a lot faster then for instance your ear or navel.... So i think I have some bad news... You'll need to get it pierced again. don't try it yourself, you could, by accident, hit a nerve and your speech will never be the same! Make sure your piercer is liecenced!

Did you try pushing it thourgh the top and the bottom. Sometimes you just have to suck up the pain and PUSH. The longer you have it out the more it will close. The bar should not have rusted no matter what you used to clean it. You should go back to the place you got it pierced and have them redo it for free with a REAL barbell.

FYI: If you remove the ring from your tongue, it only takes a couple of hours for the piercing to close up.

Go to your local tattoo/piercing studio and ask them if they can taper it for you. Make sure to purchase new jewelry from them for your piercing.
