Put your alarm clock in a place where you have to get out of bed to turn it off. On a dresser or desk - several feet away from your bed.
But you need to get at least 7 to 8 hrs of sleep every school night.
Don't drink anything with caffeine less than 4, and preferably more than 6 hours before you go to bed. It stays with you for a long time, and will delay you from falling to sleep.
Same with sugar - don't eat sweets or desserts at least 2 hours before dinner. Your body will get a sugar rush, which you don't need.
They say a warm glass of milk helps, but I don't know about that. It might be ok, but if you have a couple of Oreo cookies, the effects might, or might not cancel each other.
Maybe try a brief 15 minute light exercise routine before you go to sleep. You will sleep better.

Sleep in the school's cloakroom, and you won't need an alarm clock. You will hear the kids come in in the morning and that will wake you up. Otherwise, get a second alarm clock as a backup.

Not sure if your alarm is electric or not, if electric make sure the volume is up, if it is just a buzzer try setting it to a radio station if it is a radio alarm. Try setting more than one alarm, if you have a cell phone set it as an alarm also. If it is a windup alarm you can set it in a pan on a desk or dresser and it will ring LOUDER that way. :) Another option is going to bed earlier, that helps too.

First, get more sleep. That is why you are not hearing it. Next, get two alarm clocks(or use your cell phone alarm) and set them within a minute of each other. One near you and the other across the room full blast. Never hit the snooze. You snooze, you loose! Have fun at school!

If you have a cell phone, set the alarm on it. If your friends have to get up that early too have them call you when they wake up.

Buy a cell phone, set an alarm in the phone, place it near your head while sleeping or in the shirt pocket, turn vibration on!

Get to bed earlier. 9 PM is a good time for a student who gets up at 5 am. Your grades will improve too.
