Hunny...honestly, you're too young to date. Wait till you're in high school. I'm only saying this because if you think about it...Do you seriously think it's worth wasting your heart on someone who you know you're not going marry? Do you think this boy actually will love you back? Don't you think that the boy will show more love if he really likes you and has the guts to ask you out instead of you asking him out? Anyways, I just think you should wait untill you're in high school or at least in 8th grade. A 11 year old is way too young too date. I'm a freshman in high school and I know this because I have a lot of friends who started dating at your age and regretted it because they're told me that most of their experiences in middle school untill 8th grade were full of nothing but lies, desperation, and infatuation. You may like this guy...but this guy may go out with you for the wrong reasons...especially at your age...because right now, as a 6th grader, you most probably are exposed to a lot of peer pressure which causes boys a lot of time to want a girlfriend. I hope you understand what I'm trying to say. I'm just trying to be a good sister ;]. Lol. Anyways, good luck with whatever you decide. Remember, I'm sure the boy you like is sweet and really nice and I have nothing against you asking him out but I think you're a little too young. Maybe you should wait a year or two! Either way, no matter what you decide, I hope you and him stay friends forever! Good luck!

P.S. Never do ANYTHING behind your parents back because if you do and you get caught...it won't be pretty at ALL!!! Trust me...one boyfriend is all it takes to shatter your relationship with your parents if you're not allowed to date & get caught!!!

okay, ur right! u ARE too young! enjoy being young while u can. no need to get involved with anyone! but u can have a "mini relationship" start going on group dates, and make sure hes invited. eventually just tell him that u like him. he probably feels the same. then u guys can start out with a "mini relationship" and let it become more serious as u get older. have fun!

Sorry - you are far too young to date. Stay friends for another 2-3 years. Then ask him to go to the movies with you......if you still want to.........

Well ask him out but don't tell your parents. I know that sounds wrong but I would, or better yet ask a friend to ask him if he likes you or not. If he doesn't then u have no problem but if he does wait for him to ask u then u could give him a response straight forward.

Just go for it. Debating the question will ultimatly waste time and lead you to the answer of not doing it. Don't worry about what he says. Always give everything a shot!

get to know him better, but not too much, because he may not be the right one for u. You're only 11, don't try and grow up too fast :)

(not to sound motherly or anything). i'm in my early teens and i've had one bf already. trust me, its not something you wanna rush into if you know it won't last. i'm taking my time with the next one. lol.

I don't think asking him out at this stage is really dating. Go for it. (real dating starts whenyou'll get older).
