I went to Vegas over the summer, and I got like one or two pimples...and I guess because of the dry weather I got a pimple...And then I used Nuetrogena Blackhead Eliminating...and it cleared my skin at one point...but this time, it made it break out more...(I'm actually not sure if that was what broke it out though).....And now...months later....It's REALLY bad. I got a couple of pimples, and it's left behind blemishes, and I'm getting some on my forehead...And I have a HUGE one on my cheek--I even named it...And I don't know what to do!!! Because....I don't even pop my pimples...so I don't know why my face keeps breaking out.

You may be reacting to some of the comedogenic (skin irritating and pore clogging) ingredients in your neutrogena product. Comedogenic ingredients can cause many problems. Check for ingredients such as: Fragrance, Isopropyl Myristate (cousin to WD40), SD alcohol (denat. alcohol), mineral oil, formeldahyde. Any and all of them could be causing your problem.
Another thing to analyze are the areas breaking out. If it is your forehead (between the eyes) it relates to your diet, specifically rich foods heavy in fats and oils. If you are breaking out on your upper cheeks it relates to your sinuses and breathing (smoking can affect this area also). If you are breaking out on your lower cheeks (under cheekbones) it could be a problem with your teeth. If it is your jawline and chin area this is hormonal, as a female you may never be totally clear in this area. When the neck and chest area are affected it is stress related.
Analyze your habits and try finding the source of the problem. Too many people treat the symptoms and forget the cause. If you are able to, go to a reputable spa and speak to an esthetician about getting on a simple skin care program, it's amazing what the right products can do for you.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask more questions if you like. I am a skin care therapist and esthetics instructor, I love to help if I can.
Good luck-
S.

I understand your dilemma...There will be months where I won't get a single pimple and my skin will be flawless. Then just when I think my skin is being good to me I get one pimple which turns into like 10. There was a time when I really thought that I was going to have to take drastic measures and see a doctor or even buy Proactive but I found out a way to help treat me problem.

It's so irritating but when this happens, I usually wash my face three times a day, do a mask once a week and then I put toothpaste on my pimple before I go to bed. This usually takes about a week or two for them to all clear but it takes time. If you ever find the cure for this please let me and the world know!lol!

Pimples are just a factor in life we ALL have to go through. Good Luck!

You reallyshouldn,t pop your pimples because it will leave red spots that might not go away. There are many ? here just like yours and I'm telling every one the same thing. Go online to HSN. Look up Serious Skin Care and see if they have a travel kit with clearz-it amoung other products, cleanser etc. They also have Pads for pimples and this stuff works. It's not expensive.

That's an old wives tale sweetheart. Mangoes are good for skin because they are high in Vitamin A. I eat mangoes in the summer and have perfect skin (I have psoriasis on my scalp but it has nothing to do with mangoes). When I hear the word mango I think of Doctor No, Underneath The Mango Tree was a song that was playing on the radio in 007's car, at the bar, and Honey Ryder was singing it when she walked out of the water. That's it I have to watch that movie again!

Though this may sound odd, but if you put hand sanitizer (only like 2 dollars) on your break out you will see a big result in just a couple of days.

for the giant one, this may sound a little overkill but it works, I trust this method enough to do it to myself. put a little dish soap on it and rub it in well, this will eliminate the bacteia and grease that clog your pores, but be careful, don't put to much, one drop will do the job. for the rest, I highly reccomend clearasil. check out this website for more information: http://www.clearasil.com
