pregnant.....and still have a period !!!???? And would it be a full blown period..... or just light spotting ???????

When you're pregnant your body produces hormones that stop the ovulation process and the period. Sometimes this hormone is not produced sufficiently and therefore causing monthly bleeding, but not really a period as it does not involve ovulation.

The cervix is open..which its not suppose to be. I think it will start out as spotting..So the woman should go to the doctor if this is happening,she could lose the baby actually depending on if something is wrong in the uterus.

i never experienced it myself but yes you can have a full blown period when you are pregnant my sister had hers for four mnths when she first got pregnant but 99% of women completely lose their period within the first trimester if not immediatly after conception

wen u are pregenant u dont have a period. thats what periods are for. an egg goes out and it is sorronded by blood and tissue. if the egg isnt fertalized then it drops the stuff in u thriugh ur vagina...

This happened to me, it was spotting slightly, however, it happened for the first three months with one child and with another pregnancy it happened around the 6th and 7th month. Talk to your doctor about it.

i have heard of women haveing preiods when they were prego my aunt did the whole 9 moths and her baby was fine but to be on the safe side i would go to the doctors office or the ER just to be safe
