Go for bigger shots. The grass surface will not slow the ball down as much as clay or hard courts will. So a shot that your opponent might be able to scrape back on hardcourt, will be a clean winner on grass.
Go to the net often. If you stay at the baseline, the speed of grass will affect both you and your opponent equally. But when you hit the balls before they bounce, you know longer have to deal with the extra speed of grass while your opponent still does. Volleying on grass is just as easy as volleying on hardcourt or clay. But hitting groundstrokes on grass is a bit more difficult than clay or hardcourt because the ball comes at you quicker.

i does no longer accept as true with James Blake. i'd imagine that those 2 gamers would have a good probability, yet i'd imagine Roddick will be better suited. before each little thing those 2 tremendous gamers pretty a lot not in any respect play one yet another. they have performed 3 cases together with a Davis Cup tournament. Roddick gained contained in the 2004 US open hostile to Nadal, yet lost in a masters sequence this 12 months. in spite of the indisputable fact that those video games are all on difficult. Nadal gained the most present day sport, yet on grass Roddick could win. Andy is so mcuh better suited on clay than difficult. Andy also more advantageous lots. My votes to Andy... How might want to James Blake say some thing like that. I recommend its hostile to his united states of america. possibly he only needed to assert what the rankings stated. this will be exciting

You don't slide on grass!! You'll fall over all the time! Bigger serves and try and let the ball bounce as few times as you can, so go and volley a lot.

You can't rely on speed like on hardcourts and there is a lot less predicitabilty with winners. Go for clean winners and net play. Avoid running forehands as you will more than likely fall :P

Slide like you are on Hard Tru. Do not afraid to take a tumble. Slice off your backhand a bit to keep it low.
