I sent an important email out but got an automatic "Out of Office" reply. Will they still receive the email? Thanks!

Yes, the mail has reached the INBOX of the receiver, and the response mail which you have received is auto generated.
This setting is done by receiver in thier mailbox in order to inform the sender of the mail that he is out of office and would reply back whenever he comes back.

The out of office reply is to let you know that they are not there.. but they will have your message waiting form them when they get back to the office..

Yes, that is just a curtious reply to inform you that they are out of office and it may be awhile before they can respond.
