I'm sure there are many schools that would be happy to provide students with a laptop for an extra $2000 or so added to their tuition bill. Many schools sell laptops to students through the school, but none give them out for free. Even if they claim it's free, I'm sure you tuition will be appropriately higher.

I'm not sure of any schools that provide students with a laptop, but I know that Drexel University's Department of Education provide their online students a video ipod.

If ur considering a mac book u can get one but its a mac many students usually have no problems until it comes up that they want to share files certain files on the mac wont run on windows same thing goes for windows now if u like the Samsung X360 its a great laptop for wat u gonna use it, if u really like it try to go to a best buy or something try to get a hands on feel thats very important hands on see how u feel about it. I am a windows user always have been but im not goin to say mac sucks cause it stream lines things windows doesnt again hands on is usually the key to seen which u like best.
