ok so these are my ideas-

UNDER THE SEA - green streaks in my hair for seaweed (although the only dye i could find was Manic Panic Dye hard which was too expensive) gray leggings w/ sponges on them (coral reef and sea sponges) dolphin and water miniskirt over the leggings, tons of seashell jewlery.

SEE/HEAR/SPEAK NO EVIL with friends - BLACK tshirt w/ flourcent paint, monkey stuff and bandanas to cover eyes n mouth, earmuffs for ears

CAT - maybe a little expensive but i think its cute any ideas to make it cheap as possible, how exactly to make the costume?

hippie - not those bought costumes, but one i can make myself that looks really cool (last year my friends made one and this other guy was like, what's she supposed to be, Pizza Girl>? haha)

please take time to read this over any advice is GREATLY APPRECIATED

If you like the cat idea, then go with it. maybe you can wear a black dress that you already have with black tights (sometimes I see them at the dollar store) or a black shirt and leggings. for the ears, hot glue felt (or other fabric) triangles to a headband. Try stuffing a black knee-high or tights leg with poly-fil (maybe a wire also, so you can bend it) and pinning it on for a tail. use eye-liner you already have for whiskers, nose, and any other makeup you want.

The hippie. It's the least expensive one and you can get creative. I once dressed as a hippie for a halloween costume, i wore a black afro wig, a pair of bell bottom jeans, some lime green wedge sandals and a tunic shirt with a vest with a tye-dye bandana as a belt. And to top it off... i had fake rainbow eyelashes which matched the banadana... it was kind of funky but cool. I got a lot of compliments and the whole costume cost me about $30...

It sounds like you've put a lot of thought into the under the sea costume and are leaning towards that one. It sounds good and different - cats and hippies are soooo overdone.

i would go with under the sea...and ones i would not suggest are hear/see/speak no evil b.c that just sounds like a tacky pac sun tee and hippe b.c thats lame...for a cat you could get a short little black dress and cat ear headband that sounds cute...oh and high heels and black stocksings or thigh highs!

I would go with the cat one, but NOT the under the sea one. That one sounds a little too childish. No offense, or anything! :)

sorry but your list is like 3 yr. olds. try being a goth or a vampire. not the cape, but dress as a girl who got bit by a vampire. wear black and red. have a coset and lace. have your hair black. don't forget about the bite marks.
