I have all the updated software to run the program, but cannot connect from my office computer or any of my co-workers PC's. I get a connecting icon and a few moments later IE crashs and closes all the IE applications. I tried with Firefox & Netscape as well. I get pretty much the same result. Please help!

actually there is a way...but its a stretch when trying to find a way to chat on companies time with a firewall applied...

go back and search for like Aim 5....usually the firewall is not set to pick up anything that old. I used to do that at school and such when iw as bored and it might work for you.

That depends, on where the software firewall is located. If the software is on the server, you could try a wireless modem and accessing a neighboring company's wireless network to access the Internet. Otherwise you could get a cell-phone that accesses chat software and use that.

properly, the community admin could be waiting to show off the firewall on your port. previous that, that's recommended to establish a proxy tunnel throughout the firewall. in spite of the shown fact that, maximum human beings have not got fun with that artwork and would get you fired.

Yes, but they would end up ID'ing you AND they are legally allowed to terminate you for unauthorized use of company property. Do you hate your job & want to get fired anyway ? Your next prospective employer might not like the termination record.

If you are looking to get fired, just be more obvious. That is nuts trying to chat when the company has gone to the bother and expense to make sure you do not!
