Ok...first..put some leather treatment cream on it. I think it's a sealer for the leather. Put a baseball in the mit and tie it up with rubberbands, THEN put it in the oven for at least 15 minutes. It will come out a little darker probably lol After that take the rubberbands off and take the ball out of the mit. Now, fold it as if you caught a ball but WITHOUT the ball in there. Rubberband it up again and put it on your driveway. Run over it a few times. Don't be afraid lol After that, just play with it as much as you can. Leave a ball in the mit and rubberband it up every night for a couple weeks. PLAYBALL!!!

As a kid, we always bought glove oil at the sporting good store, oiled the glove on the pocket area (where it creases when you catch a ball) and then set a baseball in to and pinched the glove in a heavy dresser drawer around the ball. This has the effect of softening up the leather and also creating a bit of a pocket... You repeat this process until it's soft enough to use.

The best method is to rub Vasoline on the glove and put a baseball in the pocket. Then wrap the glove closed tight with a shoestring. After a couple days, toss it in the air a few times and hit it with a bat. Then the more you play catch with it, the softer it will get.

Then placed a baseball interior the pocket, tie the glove tightly close around the ball with some shoelaces or string, and enable it sit down in one day or some days. keeping a ball interior the pocket any time you at the instant are not making use of it is likewise a solid thought to maintain the pocket properly-formed. which will help soften the leather-based and form the pocket and relax the glove so it is less demanding to squeeze close, even regardless of the undeniable fact that it is going to basically form to your hand over the years with placed on and use.

Rub it down constantly with linseed oil or neet's foot oil. The absolute best way to make the leather soft and pliable.

You can create the pocket by putting a baseball in it, wrapping it with rubber bands and putting it under something heavy, like a mattress.

The best way is just to use it. When I was a kid I would put a baseball in the mitt and tie a string tight around it. You might want to use some mink oil to loosen up the leather a bit too.

Rub it with 3 in 1 oil, everyday, for a week. Keep patting a ball in the pocket for 30 minutes a day, after a week, all broke in..
