Ok the speech I have to write is an object speech and it has to be about an object that has been significant to your life or meaningful to you....for me I had picked a candle...

ALWAYS start with a big smile, and a question. Tie the answer to that question into your opening statement.
As you're speaking, if you get too nervous to look at anyone, glance around the room at the back wall...with a confident expression. People will think you're looking at someone else sitting behind them. Visual aide ALWAYS helps keep interest.

Just make it short, to the point, and relevant. If you're doing a speech for instance, on Global warming, you must with efficiency, describe the problem and what should be done with it. Perhaps use some examples and relate it to the audience's personal lives and how they may be affected.

I liked how one of my teachers started his speech in a special hand language. The language was used by a tribe in the middle of no where. I looked at him and was wondering what he was doing, than he told me all about the place.

Think of something that the students get excited about. Then open with a question, like, "How many of you want to earn lots of money?"
You have to think of something which fires the imagination. Sex, cars, vacations in exotic places.

Give them a quiz and have them fill it out before you start...give them the answers, not in order, during your speech, and have them grade themselves on how much they knew about your speech.

Start with a completely random topic, such as the doorknob's negative impact on American social disorder, and just make it up as you go. And have fun!

first take the teacher and say i love you and then they will give you an A+ trust me i did it once in 2nd grade and it worked
