Does anyone know why in movies and in books...Relationships between men and women are different than they are in real life...???

Well, somtimes relationships in real life aint as exiting as fictional love stories.

They aren't always. Every relationship is different. Some are similiar to what's in books and movies. Many are not. Plus people are bored by real life. They want to either see something better or something so horrendous it matches the sad self-image they have.

Everything on TV is different than real life. Especially relationships, but also how people are treated in hospitals (in real life good luck trying to get a doctor to talk to you), how the law treats you, how people act in general. That is why it is called entertainment.

Oh I don't know. I thought the portrayal of a break up was done spot on in the movie The Break Up except the happy ending. Instead of smiling in the end scene, she should have taken off running in the opposite direction at the sight of him.

Some movies and books do have good representations of relationships...but they only take a snapshot. Otherwise, movies and books are fantasies and tales.

Because they are based on fantasy. No one wants to watch real life relationships cuz we live them.

Because people who write them think that real life relationships would be boring to read maybe...I think they are so complex it is hard to put it down in writing because relationships are so fluid and change constantly.

books are fictional so they wont really happen in real life unless its a conqusdence and books are for entertanment these book are netertaning people
