Given human nature, we could never all stop harming each other.
"Karma" in the biblical sense may be God's way of seeking revenge on behalf of the harmed individual(s).

One could be shock absorbers or explosives. The choice is ours.

Not only do we learn bad Karma, we also learn good ones. Accidents do happen and we could all learn to be careful and tolerant of others fault. It is all part of a big world. Nobody is perfect, but we could all use a break here and there. The whole point is to avoid a big build up of bad Karma and promote the flow of good one.

However, ideals are ideals.

Karma is not about the Devil or God. Karma not only affects this life but our next lifeand previous lives(if you believe in reincarnation). Leaving this life with good Karma will make our next life better as well as making this life better. Have you never noticed how, often, when you do good deeds, not expecting anything in return that good things seem to start happening? If you havent noticed this-its about time you thought less of your own needs and more of others and you will indeed find this to be true.

It sure would be nice if there really was such a thing as karma, where you could count on people getting what they deserve; unfortunately, it sounds like a wish-fulfillment fantasy to me.
