Back in July I just bought my first house, my boyfriend of one year moved in with me. I though it was going to be great but it really did a number on the relationship all of a sudden I am not attracted to him anymore and have no interest in him at all. I have never lived alone and now am about to tell my boyfriend to pack up and move out because I am just not intersted in him anymore, but what is the nicest way to do it?

I just went through the exact same experience. Honestly, there is no nice way to do it. Especially if he is still in love with you. You just have to let him know that things are not working out the way you expected, and that you think it's best if you seperated. Once he's out, then you can take it a step further and break things off completely, if thats what you want. Its a difficult situation, but you need to do it, otherwise you will be miserable. It sucks when you know you are hurting someone, but sometimes, there is just no alternative. Think of yourself and don't feel guilty... Nothing wrong with that every once in a while.

first of all have you really need sit down and really understand why you not attracted to your boyfriend. Now I can answer this a lot of ways but to start off... one... you stated you brought your house. Now did your boyfriend help or was this all on your own by yourself? Two ...you stated you and your boyfriend been together for a year. Now before you decided to let your boyfriend move in I'm pretty sure you were seeing signs of disconnection way before hand it just not happen over night. Three... Are you really sure it's your boyfriend or you trying to be independent now and dump him because you feel you are excelling. Only you can answer that. Now if your boyfriend is a dead beat then yes by all means kick him out or hits you. But the way I see it you done invest a good deal in him this long why not try to make it work. If you run from your relationship when things are not smooth how will you handle a marriage or problems in the long run with new house if situations occur in a yr or two down the road. I believe you need to sit down and talk it out with him (again talk) and see if you two can come to a solution together a year relationship is worth trying to save. Again if he just a dead beat or using you then by all means put his AZZ OUT!!

The nice way would be to have a sit down and just tell him that you need your space. The not so nice way is to tick him off and make him want to leave on his own. A good idea would be to let him catch you in bed with another guy.

Tell him you were not as ready to live with a mate as you thought you were. Tell him you need to be alone. This will eliminate him thinking there is someone else and not make him feel insufficient as a mate.

Honestly. Tell him that you no longer have the same feelings toward him, and that you don't want to hurt him by putting it off longer than necessary. Also, you'll be bringing more pain on yourself by delaying the inevitable.

Look him in the eye and be honest to him on how you feel. And damit, smile because someone is smiling at you.
