Depending on the size, popularity, requirements, etc... it usually takes 4-8 weeks. When submitting, call the admissions dept. and ask them.

It takes way too long! Some colleges have rolling admissions, which means they look at each application as they receive it and usually make a decision right away. Most colleges send out all the acceptance letters at once. Each college has a different date when they send them out. Check with each individual school.

I received mine maybe a month and a half after I sent it in, but that was rolling admissions. Some may wait till January to send it, others may wait till March. A friend got accepted to ASU in September.

depends on the college, many won't notify you until March, however others will notify you in late October or November also depending on if you applied for early admissions or are trying to get in early of if heaven forbid you got wait listed... I wouldn't worry about it until after Thanksgiving

its an average of 6-8 weeks for most colleges!!!
