Today, I went out to PF Changs with a prospective employee & ordered their best dish, "Kung Pao Scallops". Well, as usual, I could not eat the whole meal & took the rest to go.
Sure enough, I left the damn lunch in my car, and when I left for work & opened the door....whoa baby! The smell that came out of my car was legendary!

left some hamburgers with grilled onions in my brothers car over nite it was about 90 degrees when he opened the door the next day he still hates white castle

Yes. And I got rid of the smell by leaving the windows & sunroof slightly open, and by putting in a 3 cup plastic container filled with baking soda.

Nothin' like that special AGED scent of forgotten tidbits . . .
To rid the house of smells, boiling vinegar is recommended. I think, 'yeah, then what about the vinegar smell?', but I found out opening a window gets that out easily. Maybe you could set a pot of steaming vinegar in the car, to rid it of the smell. It may neutralize it for you.

yes, and it made the car smell like a garbage disposal.it took days to get that smell out.

I WORKED A DOUBLE SHIFT ONE DAY AND I WAS SO TIRED I STOPPED AT THIS CHINESE PLACE AND GOT SOME FOOD FOR ME AND MY HUSBAND SO I GET OUT THE CAR AND GO INSIDE TAKE A SHOWER THEN I GO TO BED SO LATER MY HUSBAND COMES HOME LOOKING FOR THE FOOD THEN I REALIZED I LEFT IT IN THE HOT CAR MY CAR SMELLED LIKE ****
