Schumi already announced his retirement from F1 end of this session after the race in Monza and Kimi is stepping in Schumi's car.
Kimi has always been a great driver with very little luck and a very unreliable piece of car(sh*t). Hope he is the next champion with Ferrari or we can hope Fellipe Massa to step up but i doubt kimi would be in the back seat.

Schumi will definitely retire after the next 2 races. Should he? I think so because:
1) He is retiring on a high note and in style whether he wins the 8th championship or not. He is finishing as a winner, whether you like him or hate him
2) He has won so much he doesn't have to prove anything to anybody and to himself
3) He said himself that he lost that motivational drive and has a hard time coping with the stress after so many years. These are major factors for a race driver
4) He has committed a few more mistakes this season than in the past (Qualifying in Turkey, race in Hungary, etc.) These are signs of age. And he knows it as well
Nobody will become the next Schumi, at least not in our generation. Kimi is very fast, a great driver, but he is very different from Schumi. Based upon his skills and the Ferrari team's support, it is fair to say that we will witness another F1 era, and Kimi will be one of the protagonist of this new era, more so with Ferrari than with McLaren. My prediction is that Kimi will win a world championship with Ferrari. Will he win more than one? Impossible to say now. But the premises are there. And don't forget, besides Alonso, there are new drivers who will emerge strong.

Schumi is retiring at the end of this season, i've watched f1 since i was knee high, and I cannot see anyone in the near or distant future being the next schumi. Raikonnen is exceptional, his luck has been dismal, he moves to a team worthy of his abilities next year, ferrari. He will be a multiple world champion, i have no doubt, and with alonso moving to McLaren, i think the spaniard has jeopardised his chance of being world champ again.

Schumacher will retire at the end at this season. He announced that after the Italian GP. I'm not sure if Raikkonen could be the next Schumi. I think Alonso is better than him though.

Yes,it is about time for Micheal Schmacher to retire and no,Raikkonen will not become the next Micheal Schmacher because he has so much trouble finishing a race as it is right now.

schumacher is a great driver and it will be a LONG time before anyone else can even come close to breakin his streak and his records.kimi hasnt had any luck, but i think the title alonso won couldve easily been his had his car helped him out. i think kimi in a fast reliable ferrari could be dominant, he has demonstrated blistering pace on a couple of occasions, but how he will fit into the team and contribute will be interesting to see.
