You have it by being female or male, some application forms ask sex with an (f) and (m) to mark your sex. It works by dividing the population approximately in half. Its purpose is many-fold but I think its main purpose is to complicate life and make it more interesting. The different sexes claim not to understand each other yet they strangely seek to be together kind of like the opposite poles of a magnet. Sometimes they don't like the opposite sex members of their age groups, but they seem to always like somebody in the opposite sex even if it's a parent, role model, or hero.
In answer to your detail question, there are many reasons.
Some are infirtile, some adore God not children, some neither adore God or children, and some just hate children...

I can't know if you are seriously coming to Yahoo for these answers, but if you are, it is something you should not be considering. Until you understand and are prepared for the potential consequences you are just rushing things, and there's no good reason to do so. We are sexual beings and it's an aspect of our nature to be enjoyed, but it can also spread disease and of course unwanted pregnancy long before you are emotionally and financially ready for children. And from my own experience, sexual intimacy, especially before you're emotionally mature enough to be prepared for outcomes on all levels, can be confusing and can lead to lots of worries no one needs. Leave it for another day when you're 100% ready and can really give yourself to someone without fear and reservation, and with full understanding of what you're investing and risking.

lol...i will not go into detail, but it's not much work involved at all. sex is not just for the purpose of pro-creation, you'll find out about the 2nd reason when you get older. just wondering-have you asked your parents this question?
