There are so many inconsistencies between the movie and the book, and I know that that is partly because of the running length of the movie, but one in particular is that they never really tell in the book how Bridget's mom dies. In the movie they hint at suicide, and they mention some kind of spells or fits or something. So, according to the movie how did Bee's mom die? Why isn't it in the book? Please give sources.

It is in the book, It was mentioned the the 2nd book. There's is a total of 3 books. She in fact does kill herself because of depression and stopped taking her pills.

In the movie they don't say it, but they hint it. In the book, they mention that she dies from injecting herself. It was in the second one. It talks about her grandma having a needle for Diabetes, and then she remembers her mom.
Her mom suffered from depression, and committed suicide. Read the 2nd one, it explains Bridget's mom's life. I forgot her name.

The movie was so disappointing! I couldn't believe they left out all the siblings!
