I loved been a teenager in the 70's, the music was great, life was fun, jobs were plentiful and I never noticed much about anything else, at that age I wasn't that bothered about crime or what was going on in the world because I was too busy having fun, but every decade has had it problems with crime and violence, hatred and wars, maybe its because I am a lot older and wiser that I notice these things now, the media has freedom of speech these days and publish things that were brushed under the carpet at one time, sex, crime and violence have always happened but those things are talked about more openly today too, guess we fear more today because of things been in the open and not brushed to one side anymore.

The 50s were great. No speed cameras, no traffic wardens ,no yellow lines, no speed limits outside towns no thought police, no laws made for no reason,no nutty Muslims. And people were happy with our own white society. You wouldn't believe how this country has gone down the pan if you hadn't lived then. And we had free speech, and if this answer is pulled it will prove what crap we have to endure today.
