It was a film called Eye Of The Beholder with Ashley Judd and Ewan McGregor, she was also in Double Jeopardy with Tommy Lee Jones and loads of other stuff.

If you do, the last thing I saw her in was the episode of Hope and Faith where Hope tries to play a Hallow Een prank on Faith, takes her to their old teacher's house (the one they tented) and Faith outmarts her and gets an axe in the back...?
Carol Kane played the old school teacher. She's been in loads of things, including the Addam's Family (grandma)
