my supervisor says he wants me to have the job i deserve and says the person doing it now is not suitable and shouldnt have this position but he tells me one thing and takes her out to lunch.i think he's playin games with me..he says things like i know you can do the job and he has info that can get her fired but wants to wait for the 'right' moment to use it..whats going on here?

not much that you could do anything about. either he's a terrible boss and can't prepare you in a professional manenr for the new position he thinks you can do. Or he's buttering you up for ulterior motives. Either way your best bet is to keep doing your current job as well as you have been and wait patiently. if it gets to be distracting you can approach him about a timeline or better estimate of when it can happen. or you can look elsewhere.

my guess is that you supervisor is trying to get into your pants and is trying to give you a reason to think that you owe him. So if I were you I would keep a good record of what he says and when and to date and time so when he does drop the whole sex ball that you can pass that next position and take his job

My guess is he's trying to string you along. Find a better job.

Ur answer to that--"Oh...hehe..." [hair toss] and that's it. Let him do what he wants and U don't worry about it. Don't try to influence him one way or another. U don't want to play that game.
