The person keeps it. You give them 2 cents. they give you a penny back. You get 1 and they get 1.

Well, it seems to me that we have three cents if we pool our resources. Maybe they're rare, but more likely they are common cents. We could try using them as seed money, but I've always heard that money doesn't grow on trees. If we use the three cents towards some pizza, that might be a good use of our dough, but then, since I'm trying to tighten my belt, that might not be the best bet. Just remember, a shave and a hair cut...two bits.
