Is there a way defeat life?

I know this sounds stupid, but if you really think about it, it really makes since. Everywhere you go, you may hear someone in the world telling you that life is just a mental game (or something like that). So I wanna know is there any way to overcome life itself.

YES.... dont become caught up in the normal ant like work of everyone else. Really, and i mean really enjoy your life. Do whatever makes you happy. Dont get caught up in getting the bigger house and better car. Its more about living a fuller and more beautiful house. Life is made up of stories. If all you do is just work then youll have no stories and then no real life and then life has you. Because all your time is gone with no more enjyment left.

yeah, self confidence, faith that everything would eventually be ok, and it'd help a great deal if you have some kinda religious faith, helps you hold on to something. Life's rough but be determined to make it work out.
