Alligators eat ANY small animals they can get in their mouths, so yes. And frogs eat mostly insects, many of which eat algae.

yes and no algae is not usually eaten unless necessary but a frog will if he has to. and no alligators don't eat frogs the prefer small harry mammals such as rats and occasionally owls!

some alligators will eat frogs of different types....alligators are very opportunistic and frogs....especially bullfrogs...make a common meal.......frogs are, as far as i know, hunters.....no southeast u.s. species i know of eats algae...they eat mostly bugs and anything smaller than them that moves, doesnt taste too bad, and will fit in their mouth
