i thought the rule was 50 min of teaching and 10 for a break.

unless you are teaching for more than 4 hours then you may need longer to get some lunch/dinner

Breaks between lectures should generally depend on how long the lecture is and the age of the audience. For adults, we can only fully absorb knowledge in one sitting of 30-45 mins. So 15 minutes would be a good minimum time for your break to keep your listeners alert and able to absorb knowledge.

I didn't know lectures had brakes. If you mean breaks, then about 15 minutes.

You can lecture a brake all you want to, but I don't think the brake is going to hear one word you say.

45 mins if they are on different topics and different groups so that people can relax for a bit and grab something to eat, if they are little lectures in a symposium type format then 10-15 mins should be good so that if people need to move around they can but its not too long so that your just killing time

5-10 minutes for every 1-1.5 hours of lecture, in my opinion.

Breaks.. not brakes.. but probably 15 minutes would be a good duration of a BREAK.
