Rods are long objects with fins on the side. They were discovered in the early 1990's during the advent of video cameras. Basically they look like flashes of light. There is no physical proof other than the objects seen flying on videos and on pictures. There are many different theories about what rods acually are. Some say that they are aliens, others ghosts, and some people say that they are machines. Others say that they are UFO's or blurred bugs. What do you think? Are rods real? What are they?

I believe rods are real. I feel that they are some "as of yet non-cataloged" life form that exists in the upper atmosphere and comes down every once in a while to see what's going on, just like any other kind of wildlife. I believe that a percentage of UFO sightings are nothing more than 'schools' of rods dipping and dodging as sunlight glances off their cylindrical forms under the right lighting conditions..
Did you also know that rods have been seen going into and coming out of bodies of water?
And last but not least, you , yes you can catch rods on film (or digitally) with a little bit of practice and patience..
Aim your camera at the sky with the sun to the left or right and let that puppy run...Chances are you'll catch at least one rod on the footage...Of course you'll have to go through the footage very carefully and with meticulous eye, but they're there!!!!

There are so many things that are being found in the normal and the paranormal worlds every day in some coner of this earth. And yes I do believe that rods exist but they are still members of those things we call undetermined.

They certainly are interesting little buggers. Perhaps they are real or perhaps they are just an anomoly involving bugs and camera lenses. Perhaps its a light trick. Being an avid fan of cryptozoology, I personally would find it pretty exciting if there was something to it.

This is the first time I have heard of them as such. You might tune in to Coast to Coast AM radio. There's a show on there where people like to tune in to talk about stuff like that.

Do I believe? Well, show me more evidence.

They are not real. Its the shutter of the camera and flight of bugs that creates this phenomenon. I thought it was real at first too.

um particular for sure he took steroids, he admitted to it! he reported that "his cousin positioned the needle in". i don't have confidence him for sure, being a real die-complicated pink Sox fan, i think of he did it himself. yet everybody else appeared to have confidence him, because of the fact he did not get kicked out. And particular, I do think of he took steroids in extreme college. too lots going against him to argue that he did not.
