rent a uhaul, truck for hire, rental truck

then drop it off where they have their station. You'll need a deposit and you'll have to pay for gas, and ofcourse you'll need insurance.

The cheapest way to move a lot of stuff is to just pack it into a car or U-haul and drive across. The other option, if you can wait a while, is to mail the items via Media Mail or Parcel Post. Parcel Post is really cheap, but it could take 2 to 3 weeks for everything to arrive.

its called upack.com.... my friend just moved from Calif to Ariz for $1800... not sure how cheap that is for you.. but otherwise a uhaul or rental truck might be cheaper that that. at Upack.com you pack the truck, they come and pick up the trailer ( like on a semi ) and drive it there. You dont have to drive the actual truck. Good luck, moving sucks !!

If it's not a lot of stuff, I would consider ABF Freight. They moved my 10X10 storage space full of stuff from Las Vegas to Cleveland for about $1000. They charge by the linear foot of space you take up in the truck, and pick up and deliver at your convenience. You just have to load and unload the stuff off the truck.

Post an add on Craigslist for someone who is going that way to take your stuff.
