My belief system is that men don't want other men's children to contend with. They are 10 & 14yrs.

It's totally up to you. I would NEVER consider a serious relationship with a guy with kids, but that's my personal preference.

I know you wanted to hear from men, but, It can be a consideration. Should she not be allowed to share her life with a worthy partner, just because of a past relationship that didn't work. You need to ask yourself, how much you care about and/or love this person. It will be difficult in the beginning. I've found that it's an natural instinct for children to attempt to protect the parent. Once they can trust you, it will get better.

41 years old and two kids, well,i don't see these two things being a problem.
Now there could be things associated with this that can change things.
If the divorced parents are doing right by the children and there is no drama associated with the ex. you should be fine.
There are fewer single , childless women to compete with those with children.
The numbers are on your side.it does add to what the new man has to consider but if he is serious about a meaningful relationship, you both will work all things out.

NOPE. she really needs to focus on her children. Children from a divorce really need extra assurance that they are the MOST important thing in their parents lives. Another man coming into the mix is just going to make things tougher on them. You can still see her, out of the house, on occasion, but as for a serious relationship, I wouldn't do that to her or the children.

To be prefectly honest with you I normally it's not something I'd be comfortable with. The other day I photographed a co-worker's house and she had two boys 9 & 14. They we're such cool and well behaved kids that I would have enjoyed hanging out with them if I was dating her.

So I guess it depends on how well brought up the kids are. I'd hate to have to lock horns with them.

The relationship comes as a package.
Either they accept you and the kids or they don't accept you at all.
My beleif is that you accept them as one and don't worry about whose they were.
